Welcome to my space…
I am Heena Rathore-Pardeshi, author, developmental editor, literary critic & writing coach

About Me
Books have shaped both my professional life and much of my personal one. Over the years, I have worked closely with writers from different countries, genres and stages of their careers, helping develop manuscripts, strengthen narrative structure, deepen characterisation and bring greater clarity and intention to the page.
My own writing ranges from fiction to literary criticism and writing craft. I am the author of Deceived, the literary-horror novella The Manor, and The Art of Storytelling, a practical exploration of how stories are conceived, developed, written and revised.
Alongside my writing, I founded Verbatik Media, where I work with authors on editorial development and publishing, and I have spent more than a decade reading, reviewing and discussing books through The Reading Bud.
What connects all of these things is a fascination with storytelling itself: how a seemingly ordinary idea becomes a world, how characters acquire emotional weight, how structure changes meaning, and how language influences the way a reader experiences a story.
